Alpha Stockathon is a gamified desktop application designed to make learning the stock market more engaging and intuitive for beginners. Set in a pixel art world, the game follows a character on a journey to rescue a wizard, where each level represents a different concept in the stock market. Players learn by making decisions, answering questions, and engaging with simulated market scenarios rather than passively consuming content.

This project was completed in just three days, which meant I had to quickly understand how the stock market works while simultaneously figuring out how to translate it into a game. The biggest challenge was not just learning the concepts but simplifying and structuring them in a way that could fit into a pixel art game format.
It pushed me to think fast, make decisions quickly, and focus on how to turn complex systems into something interactive and understandable. Balancing accuracy with clarity and education with engagement was difficult within such a short timeframe.
