A neural network looks through one eye and guesses how far away everything is. It has only ever seen pictures of the world, never touched it — so its sense of space is flat, smeared, certain about edges that aren't there. Here that guess is rebuilt, live, as a space you can move through. The broken reconstruction is the work.
